Make a Garment a Month Challenge Update 9 November, Your Plans...
Hi everyone,
What a success this challenge has become - I love your enthusiastic response :). Let's see if we can keep the momentum going and get a good community happening via our blogs.
Before I start the post, I thought I would just run through a couple of housekeeping issues, especially for new people joining us. Those of you already in the challenge can just skip this part and go to the exciting plans later in the post :)
New people are finding us all the time - that's thanks to the button you put on your sidebar. This means we all get to meet new sewers and new bloggers.
Mina , Sherry and Heather have just joined.

It's lovely that some people that have found out about this challenge are starting their own blogs too. It's great to have you with us in the blogosphere.
For those of you who are new to the challenge, do read the rules in the top bar of my blog. These are guidelines to help you structure your sewing goals and to keep the challenge on track.
To new bloggers, if you are not sure how to put the button on your side bar, please read this post:
Don't worry too much if it is all too much to work out how to do right now - over time you will find this quite easy to do.
That's the blah, blah, now the bit that's interesting ...all your

ReplyDeleteYes, it will be lovely to see the finished garments. And thank you for your kind words :)
DeleteSo pleased Make a Challenge is growing. Dresses are quite popular for November, Ive just cut one out, but my original plan I will have to rethink on the style option as the vintage fabric is only 36" wide, may have to jiggle them pieces around.
ReplyDeleteHi Louise, good luck with the juggling :)
DeleteSarahLiz, you are so great to do this. It is really interesting to see what others are planning to work on.
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda. It is interesting - so many different ideas :)
DeleteSo looking forward to seeing all of the results!
ReplyDeleteHi Candyce, it will be lovely, I agree :)
