Make A Garment a Month now on Facebook.
Most of you probably already know that I was facilitating the Make a Garment a Month Challenge Blog from late 2013 and all of 2014.
Some of you that follow my blog may not know about the Make a Garment a Month Challenge and may want to be part of it next year.
Next year we are moving to Facebook. We will be a closed group. If you want to be part of this group, either friend me on my facebook page : https://www.facebook.com/sarah.liz.104 or email me - stylishsarah251@gmail.com.
To those of you who already know this news and are members, my apologies for boring you, and for those that are not members and want to join - you are more than welcome.
Sarah Liz
:) Fabulous!
ReplyDelete:), See you over there
DeleteDone, now to see if I can do better than last year :)
ReplyDeleteNothing like setting yourself a New Year Challenge :)
DeleteMe too! I need a challenge!
ReplyDeleteDitto :)
DeleteI'm not on Facebook .i have always loved checking out everyone's inspiration, is there anyway to view this without being on Facebook ?
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry Janine, there will be no way of viewing. It's going to be too much work for me to maintain the blog.
DeleteI wasn't on Facebook until last year, when I had to join to take part in a University Group.
In your occupation, you need professional boundaries and anonymity, so I an understand why you are not on. I don't use my married name as I also have similar concerns.
Sorry to disappoint you, it was a decision I had to make.
Thanks anyway. I really hesitated having even a blog but I try to keep it as anonymous as possible . Good luck with it all anyway.
DeleteI should imagine you would have hesitated. Thanks for your well wishes, and Happy New Year.
DeleteHuh, interesting. I've never heard of the 'garment a month' thing, but I like the idea. I think I might join you!
ReplyDeleteWelcome - I'll add you :)
DeleteI guess it's time to say goodbye to you all! I never use my Facebook account because I don't have enough time on my hands to be active on all kinds of social media. I limit myself to blogging and Instagram, otherwise it would cut too much into my sewing time. I really enjoyed being part of this group and many thanks to Sarah Liz for hosting it!
ReplyDeleteI understand Marianne. I limit my social media to Facebook and Blogging, and Pinterest - which leaves me time to work, sew and do the domestic bits and pieces.
DeleteI am hoping to do better next year but we will see. Thank you for all your effort, it has been really interesting seeing people's garments.
ReplyDeleteI understand Mandy - life has other plans sometimes - but as you know, you join in when you can :)
DeleteI have joined you on Facebook, Sarah Liz, though not sure how all this works. I have never joined an online sewing group before, so will look forward to further instructions :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful. I'll write a quick post in the next day or so and put it here, and on Facebook - I'll outline the basics.
DeleteThis is great! Can not wait to see everyone garments in 2015 :)
ReplyDeleteYes, I think it will be wonderful too :)
DeleteWould love to take part - have just 'friended' you!
ReplyDeleteWonderful - I'll add you :)
DeleteI really enjoyed participating in this last year (although I got lazy & didn't keep it up). I sent you a friend request; please add me to the group. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Beverly, will do :)
